Easy to Learn Controls Canopus has enhanced PhotoAlbum 2.0 with a new graphical user interface providing faster and more intuitive creation of photo album effects. The “SmartConfig” interface now features playback and scrub control to give videographers more control when editing and previewing their creations. Users can also determine the layout of each page, insert custom text or captions and import additional AVI video clips or Bitmap image files to enhance the presentation further.

Stunning 3D Book Styles and Artwork With over 300MB of artwork and textures supplied with the package, PhotoAlbum 2.0 includes a helpful Artwork Wizard that guides users through the process of setting up the entire appearance of an album. Users can choose from a host of 3D book styles, cover textures and page textures to make each album an original.

Global Configuration PhotoAlbum 2.0 provides a Global Configuration utility designed to quickly adjust important functions such as overscan area handling and 3D rendering and have the settings instantly apply to all PhotoAlbum 2.0 effects. Accessed either directly or from any effect configuration panel, Global Configuration also provides users with four different quality settings to improve preview performance on older machines.

Realistic Lighting and Shadow Effects PhotoAlbum 2.0 breaks the barrier of static shadows by providing a natural, realistic and smooth look to projected shadows as they are cast in reference to the position of the incoming light source. Configurable shadows allow users to adjust the shadow color, intensity and the light source position.
Rendering Engine PhotoAlbum 2.0 features an enhanced rendering engine, which provides high quality output, including superior anti-aliasing. PhotoAlbum 2.0 is also engineered to take advantage of Direct3D compatible Video Graphics Accelerators for faster, hardware-based performance.
