True HDMI digital connections
Featuring HDMI in for connecting to cameras and digital set top boxes for the highest quality capture. Now you can capture directly from the HDV camera's CCD, bypassing the HDV compression chip. Blackmagic Design Intensity is ideal for monitoring uncompressed HD, HDV and even DV edits usijng the built in HDMI out for big screen televisions and video projectors.

Live Production Editing with On-Air 2.0 and Blackmagic Design Intensity
Included with Blackmagic Design Intensity is Blacmagic On-Air 2.0 which allow two Intensity boards to be plugged into an Apple Mac Pro system for live mixing between two HDV cameras. On-Air includes everything you need for a live production studio, including camera monitoring, program monitoring, graphich keying and recording to disk. Camera auto sync is included so yo don't even need expensive genlock cameras so any HDV camera with HDMI out will do. Full resolution live HD production is ideal for weddings, education, corporate production and more.

Professional Video Standards
Instantly switch between HD and SD video standards including HDTV 1080i/59.94, 1080i/50, 720p/59.94, 720p/50, NTSC and PAL. Blackmagic Design Intensity allows capture in professional file formats which are fully compatible with Blackmagic Design�s DeckLink and Multibridge capture cards, so you can deliver finished television programs, music videos and other work at broadcast standards. Application Compatibility
Blackmagic Design Intensity is an ideal companion for most video editing software. Windows™ compatible software includes Premiere Pro®, After Effects®, Photoshop®, Encore DVD® and many more.

HDMI Quality
Unlike analog connections, HDMI is the new digital standard appearing in the latest cameras, televisions and video projectors. HDMI is fully digital and has no video compression, so it doesn't suffer from any image degradation. Unlike DV and HDV FireWire based video standards, HDMI allows deeper bit depths and full color resolution, eliminating banding and contouring problems in high quality video. HDMI is found on the latest HD cameras such as the Sony HDR-HC3 or Panasonic HDC-SD1.

Accurate AV Sync
