Proven DV Codec Technology At the heart of ADVC500 is Canopus's proprietary DV codec chip,
providing the industry's highest picture quality preservation during analog-to-DV
conversion and locked audio support for perfect audio and video
synchronization at all times.
Advanced Usability
ADVC500 is quickly configurable. Front panel controls include a mode switch,
input line select, input audio select, audio sampling rate select, analog
input level adjustment dials and peak audio meters.

Other converters can lose audio/video sync when converting longer segments
of video. ADVC500 supports locked audio when converting from analog to
digital, assuring perfect audio and video synchronization.
